Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Council, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Subscriptions

Council offers an auto-renewing monthly subscription that unlocks unlimited AI council sessions. Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store via RevenueCat.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store account settings.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except as required by applicable law.
• Prices may change with notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

3. AI Disclaimer

AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Always consult a qualified professional before making important decisions. You use Council at your own risk.

Do not submit highly sensitive personal information unless you are comfortable having it processed by Council and the third-party AI providers needed to generate the response.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Council to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Generate or distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content
• Submit another person's personal data without the right to do so
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or authentication
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the service
• Impersonate any person or entity

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting contact@pavelsmolin.com. We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid subscription fees, except as required by law.

6. Intellectual Property

Council and its content are owned by or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You retain ownership of the questions you submit.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Council is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI responses will be accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Council, including reliance on AI-generated content.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
